The rain held off for a beautiful fall wedding day at Old House Vineyards for Carlye and Macklin. This has been a day we’ve all been waiting for it was finally a reality this past Saturday, October 30th! Enjoy scrolling through and getting a glance at this perfect day for two incredible people.

Carlye’s details were all incredible, but this bracelet was one of my favorites.
Her “something blue” made the perfect addition to her reception outfit!
This mother-daughter relationship is so special. Don’t they look like sisters?!
A simply STUNNING bride!
Loved the addition of these floral ties!
These bridesmaid dresses from Revelry were everything I could’ve dreamt of photographing!!
The sweetest siblings ever! Sean’s reaction was everything.
Macklin was a bit speechless through the whole first look. He couldn’t believe he was finally getting to marry the girl of his dreams!
Fun fact: Both of these pups are named “Bo” and they’re both the most handsome, sweetest, and well behaved dogs!

How They Met:

Macklin and Carlye were best friends in high school. They met on their high school swim team in the winter of 2009. They spent their falls together as captains of their School Spirit team (The Fauquier Zoo), their winters on the swim team, and their springs looking forward to summer field parties and country concerts. Even though they were always just close friends, Macklin often told Carlye that he knew they would always be more than best friends. At the young age of 17, Macklin promised Carlye that he would ask her to marry him one day, and he made that dream come true on December 15th, 2019 and officially married his high school best friend on October 30th, 2021.

This is most certainly a “personality pic”.
Gorgeous florals (as always) from Dawn Confer with Everlasting Flowers!
Photography is easy when you have beautiful and adorable subjects like these!
Words can’t describe how much I love all four of these people in the picture to the right. Our “Momma Ward”, also known as our infamous kindergarten teacher has been our biggest cheerleader ever since being in the “Crayola Crayon” class.
Burying the bourbon most certainly worked for this day!
Chris Goodgion from Capital DJ always keeps the dance floor hopping!
Carlye and her Mom invited all moms and their children to the dance floor as a thank you to all mommas!
The night wouldn’t have been complete without a singing “Country Roads” for these WVU lovers.

Well Macklin, you did it. You officially married your dream girl.

I couldn’t have been more honored to capture this day for you two. Annie has brought multiple people I love into my life, but you two are at the top of the list. Your friendship, love for God, and love for people shines through so purely when you’re together. Thank you for allowing me to capture your love. Now go have a blast in Punta Cana! You two most certainly deserve it!

Love you both!

Ashley
