This was the PERFECT wedding to kick off wedding season for 2021! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect vendor crew, second shooter, couple, or beautiful day. Enjoy scrolling through some highlights of Jessie and Lou’s wedding day!
This venue was absolutely breathtaking. I must say, there aren’t many views that beat the Blue Ridge Mountains.
You would’ve never known, but there was a minor incident with Lou’s pants on the day of the wedding. His jacket, dress shirt, tie, belt, etc. was all there, yet his pants were nowhere to be found. However, we made do with another groomsmen’s pants that most certainly saved the day.
Jessie truly lights up a room with her contagious laugh and effortless joy and beauty.
If I didn’t have a camera in my hand I would’ve melted into a puddle watching this. We also decided to embrace the accidental lipstick transfer which is now one of my favorite images of the day.
The Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom were so beautiful. In their pajama sets they blended right in with the rest of the bridesmaids! Grandma “Bobby” gave Jessie her ring to wear as her something old and it’s simply stunning!
The first look between Father and Daughter will always pull at my heart strings. This first look was certainly no exception. Their “Bond” (See what I did there?) is undeniable.
The streamers, smiles, and joyful cheers were all abundant in this moment above and below.
Y’all are one GOOD lookin’ couple!
These speeches were some of the best wedding speeches I’ve heard. Jessie’s sister, was so well spoken with her heartfelt words and Lou’s brothers were hilarious with their little poem they wrote.
When I say this wedding didn’t have a dull moment…I mean it.
Jessie + Lou,
I cannot express how happy I am for you two. We met a little over a month ago for your engagement session, yet I feel like I’ve known both of you for years. I cannot imagine two people more perfect for one another. Your hearts for Jesus and your love for people is undeniable. Their love for you is just as evident and it’s easy to see why. Your wedding day was an absolute pleasure to capture. I hope and pray that the joy you experienced on May 1st continues the remainder of your marriage and lives.
